Content is no longer just a blog. It has become a multi-faceted part of everyday business. You can no longer focus on just producing blogs for your webpage.
You need to look at everything that affects your business on a day to day basis.
I recently went to a wonderful talk given by Nadia Hearn who is a brand coach, radio presenter and entrepreneur on the importance of emotional branding. It was an extremely fascinating talk because most of the courses that you do on content marketing only look at the rational side of marketing your business. They tend to leave out a huge section of your market who are looking at a business from an emotional point of view.
It made me realise that great content isn't only about rankings on Google, but is also about creating a good reputation as a company. It means looking at why you started your business in the first place and how you wanted to solve problems for your customers. It's what makes you different from your competitors.
In terms of content this means that you need to look at how you want people to react to your content and how you want make them feel to about your brand after interacting with your content. It also means that you need to create a story about your brand through all the places you share your content.
All of these factors will influence how and why you as a business will want to create content. And where you want to share that content to gain the best reputation for you.
Well written and produced content will help you build a great reputation. Grey Squirrel Content will keep up to date with the current trends in Content Creation and will use this to help your business create the best content you need.
